SBI to have new reporting system in treasury

Banking Frontiers - - Project Pipeline -

The State Bank of India is proposing to have a data warehouse system for its treasury department and build dashboards with drill down capability, rebuild existing Crystal Reports on new platform and automate reports generation wherever possible for the reports that are currently built manually in MS Excel. The new platform is expected to help cross functional analysis, improve productivity and store historical data to guide future strategies. At present, review and approval of documents and reports are done manually and the department wants to have this automated so that review comments of reviewing authorities are captured in system and approvals can be provided online and all their comments are logged for any future audits and reference. The bank is looking for a software solution for development of BI reports/dashboard and development of File Management System. The bank has sought proposals for the project, which would include building a data warehouse from the existing data and extracting data from other source systems. Using the new data warehouse, the selected service provider will have to create 10-12 dashboards with charts as per stakeholder requirements. In addition, there will also be need to develop a file management system.
