Tumkur Mer­chants Credit Co­op­er­a­tive Ltd (TMCC) is Kar­nataka’s first multi-state co­op­er­a­tive so­ci­ety. The So­ci­ety has at­tained this pre­mier po­si­tion with­out com­pro­mis­ing on the spirit of co­op­er­a­tive prin­ci­ples, while at the same time striv­ing to as­sim­i­late and im­ple­ment newer meth­ods of work or­ga­ni­za­tion and man­age­ment, with a firm com­mit­ment to its ob­jec­tives. Reg­is­tered as Souharda Credit Co­op­er­a­tive Ltd on 23 March 2006, it com­menced op­er­a­tions 30 April 2006. One of our novel ser­vice of­fer­ings of TMCC is Cash Pickup and Cash With­drawal at the doorsteps of its cus­tomers. This is to help busi­ness peo­ple, who are busy and have lit­tle time to do bank­ing trans­ac­tions. The So­ci­ety makes use of hand­held de­vice for this ser­vice.

Branch Ex­pan­sion

TMCC has 12 branches at present - 5 in Bengaluru, 5 in Tumkaru, 1 in My­suru and 1 in CIT Cam­pus, Gubbi.


The bank has im­ple­mented Core Bank­ing So­lu­tion and is of­fer­ing any­where bank­ing (C.B.S).

• To be a leader amongst multi-state co­op­er­a­tive so­ci­eties in In­dia

• To con­trib­ute to the co­op­er­a­tive move­ment by mak­ing credit avail­able to cus­tomers and more par­tic­u­larly to in­di­vid­u­als and small busi­ness peo­ple, thereby con­tribut­ing to their growth

• To main­tain net NPAs at 0% level

To achieve `1300 crore busi­ness, set up ATM net­work and have profit of `20 crore by 2020

Fu­ture Plans

TMCC is in the process of in­tro­duc­ing VISA debit card fa­cil­ity, e-Lobby and POS ma­chines.
