Sunil Kakar is new MD & CEO, IDFC
Sunil Kakar, who has been CFO at IDFC Bank, has been promoted as MD and CEO of parent company IDFC. He will have a tenure of 3 years. He will also be an additional director on the board of the company. Kakar replaces Vikram Limaye, who is joining National Stock Exchange as its MD and CEO. Kakar joined IDFC as group CFO and was responsible for finance and accounts, business planning and budgeting and investor relations, among others. He has worked earlier with Max New York Life Insurance Company as CFO. He has also worked with Bank of America for 18 years in various roles.
