SBI seeks consultant for market risk
State Bank of India is proposing to adopt the latest developments in market risk in view of the recent guidelines issued by various regulators including Reserve Bank of India, SEBI, Bank for International Settlement (BIS) and overseas regulators. The bank is planning to have a market risk consultant to help it implement the global best practices in market risk. The solutions that are to be implemented for the purpose would be at the enterprise level. The consultant will be involved in identifying risks in treasury operations at global markets and IBG and creating a control framework, development of a mechanism for putting in place international best practices in risk management in treasury operations and provide a third party independent view of adequacy of controls.
