Ori­en­tal Bank needs data ware­hous­ing so­lu­tion

Ori­en­tal Bank of Com­merce is plan­ning to im­ple­ment an en­ter­prise-wide data ware­hous­ing so­lu­tion, which in­cludes big data, data ware­house, an­a­lyt­ics, BI, in­te­grated risk man­age­ment so­lu­tion, en­ter­prise-wide fraud man­age­ment so­lu­tion, early warn­ing so­lu­tion, risk based su­per­vi­sion, and ACRM so­lu­tion. It in­tends to have a so­lu­tion that would in­te­grate and cross­re­late rel­e­vant in­for­ma­tion from var­i­ous ex­ist­ing sources and fu­ture sys­tems in­clud­ing web source. The aim is to make this so­lu­tion act as a cen­tral repos­i­tory of data and would be used for query, anal­y­sis and re­port­ing. The main aim of the bank in im­ple­ment­ing the so­lu­tion is to make it cus­tomer cen­tric by fo­cus­ing on cus­tomer sat­is­fac­tion, loy­alty and in­ter­ac­tion through use of an­a­lyt­ics. The so­lu­tion should be able to gen­er­ate an­a­lyt­i­cal in­sights into do­mains or prod­uct, risk, fraud, ACRM, MIS, Early warn­ing sys­tem, RBS, data min­ing and cor­po­rate func­tions. It should also can pro­vide a sin­gle view of the cus­tomer and as­sist in the de­ci­sion-mak­ing process with the im­ple­men­ta­tion of the BI sys­tem. Broadly, the so­lu­tion should gen­er­ate gen­er­a­tion of dash­boards, re­ports and score­cards for de­ci­sion mak­ing. They should also aid in im­prove­ment of op­er­a­tional ef­fi­ciency by pro­vid­ing over­all view of busi­ness. The dash­boards will have dif­fer­ent ac­cess rights ac­cord­ing to re­quire­ments and hi­er­ar­chy.
