T.J POULOSE Managing Director & CEO
Shri T.J. Poulose was born on 23 October 1959 at Kuruppam, Melur village in Thrissur district. He graduated in economics from Sree Sankara College, Kalady, in 1980. His first job was that of a teacher. Later, he did his HDC and joined Kuttikad Farmers Service Cooperative Bank in 1984 as a junior clerk. Later, he acquired LLB degree and MBA with HR specialization.
He has participated in 2 state cooperative congresses and various brain storming sessions of the cooperative sector in Kerala. He was selected as a director of Thrissur District Cooperative Employees Cooperative Society twice and convener of Mukundapuram Taluk Secretaries Forum. He was the key functionary for the implementation of computerization in PACS under ICDP program.
Shri Poulose had undergone training at IRMA, Gujarat under the sponsorship of NABARD.
He has visited UAE, Malaysia, Jordan, Egypt, Palestine and Israel. He believes Israel is a country from where India can study a lot. Even though it is a desert having less rain and more than 50 degree Celcius heat, it has developed agriculture.
Shri Poulose believes that farmers constitute the key segment in the development of the country. However, they are not adequately taken care of and it is this factor that promoted Poulose to work for them. He also remembers the guidance, protection and motivation provided by Shri M.C. Antony Master, who is president of the bank.
