MSCF com­pletes 100 years

Ma­ha­rash­tra State Co­op­er­a­tive Fed­er­a­tion has com­pleted 100 years of its ex­is­tence. It or­ga­nized a func­tion on the oc­ca­sion where Ma­ha­rash­tra chief min­is­ter Deven­dra Fad­navis was the chief guest. Sev­eral dig­ni­taries, in­clud­ing those ac­tive in the co­op­er­a­tive field were present on the oc­ca­sion. Fad­navis said hav­ing com­pleted 100 years, the Fed­er­a­tion should now re­flect on stream­lin­ing and evolv­ing plans for the next 50 years on how the co­op­er­a­tive sec­tor can serve the peo­ple in vil­lages across Ma­ha­rash­tra. He also promised the Fed­er­a­tion that he would work to­wards amend­ing the rel­e­vant act to en­sure funds are reg­u­larly al­lo­cated for var­i­ous ac­tiv­i­ties in the co­op­er­a­tive sec­tor so that it can func­tion ef­fi­ciently.
