Doha Bank in­tro­duces Ara­bic mo­bile app

Qatar’s Doha Bank has un­veiled a new Ara­bic mo­bile bank­ing app and re­vamped its English app as part of its effort to strengthen its dig­i­tal en­gage­ment with its cus­tomers. By re­vamp­ing the English app, the bank has added in­no­va­tive fea­tures. The Ara­bic app was launched on Qatar Na­tional Day. The app rep­re­sents the coun­try’s col­ors and dy­namic mood, and has a num­ber of unique fea­tures to fa­cil­i­tate con­ve­nient and smooth dig­i­tal bank­ing ex­pe­ri­ence to the bank’s cus­tomers. The new app will have bio­met­ric au­then­ti­ca­tion fea­ture for lo­gins and iPhone X users can sign in us­ing fa­cial recog­ni­tion fea­ture on their de­vices. On top of viewing ac­count bal­ances and trans­ac­tion his­tory and set­ting up e-state­ment for ac­counts and cards, users can make util­ity bills and credit card pay­ments, and ap­ply for prod­ucts and ser­vices such as loans, cards, and in­surance prod­ucts di­rectly from the app. CEO of the bank, Dr S. Seethara­man, said con­ve­nience of the cus­tomers has al­ways been a top pri­or­ity for the bank and the launch of the new Ara­bic mo­bile bank­ing app with state-of-theart fea­tures re­flects its vi­sion of in­te­grat­ing in­no­va­tion into its prod­ucts and ser­vices to en­hance cus­tomer ex­pe­ri­ence.
