Absolutely Happy to be a ‘Wing Rider’

-

I would like to share my personal experience of the all-new Honda CB Hornet 160R CBS. To date I have clocked 4,721 kilometres and I am really happy with this beautiful street fighter. The bike looks extremely muscular. Yet Honda are not ready to provide an engine-kill switch. That’s the only aspect in which the Hornet is lacking. Its fit-and-finish are good, except for the ignition key surrounds and handlebar mount. The engine is supersilent and the gears extremely slick; no false neutrals. The bike’s acceleration is good and the top speed is decent. The suspension is a little on the stiff side. The riding posture is upright and feels comfortable during long rides. The seat is longer and wider than the competition and my mother finds it comfortable.

The stock tyres are from MRF and are really sticky. The one thing that brings a big smile to my face is the brakes. CBS works like a charm. The headlight, however, is poor and we cannot think of an upgrade in this respect because of the very small battery: just four Ah. The bike returns a very good mileage. Reserve-to-reserve it returned 63.7 km/l on highway and 58.8 km/l within the city. I am absolutely happy to be a ‘Wing Rider’. a business of rent-a-bike in Mumbai. I have a few questions regarding this, though. Is a rent-a-bike business legal in Mumbai? If so, what kind of licence/permission is required to start this business? Please advise me.
