I own a Yamaha SZ-R (2011 model). I always get it serviced from the Yamaha service centre. The bike will soon be clocking 18,000 kilometres. There is a problem with the quality of the clutch-cable, which keeps snapping from time to time. I have replaced it thrice since I bought the bike and recently it snapped again. I want a proper solution to this problem. Furthermore, what other modifications can I undertake, apart from air-filter
change and exhaust change, to increase the performance of my bike?
You may get the clutch mechanism checked properly by an expert who can diagnose the problem. Also ensure that the rooting is checked thoroughly. As for performance enhancement, you may opt for high-lift cams, which will require an expert to fit properly.
