Bike India - - Bosch Techno Bible -

A term used to describe the use of electronics or electro-mechanical function instead of traditional mechanical linkages for the physical riding aspect of the vehicle. At present, the throttle and brake lever use sensors to determine their position and allow the control units to generate a response equivalent to what it would feel like with traditional mechanical operations at work. In case of the throttle, the throttle position sensor sends a signal to the motor that operates the butterfly valve in the inlet manifold.
