Nemocare Wellness wins Israel’s fifth Start TLV-India

BioSpectrum (Asia) - - Start-Up News -

Nemocare Wellness was selected as the winner due to its innovative concept and technology as it aims at developing a portable connected wireless wearable device worn around the newborn’s foot. The device is highly accurate, low cost and user friendly and addresses the need of timely detection of Apnea and Hypothermia in newborns.

The competition in India has been a tool for women entrepreneurs and the event showcased the creativity and skillfulness of all the five shortlisted innovators.

Pratyusha Pareddy, CEO & founder of Nemocare Wellness brings to her startup not just her vision as an innovator and her professional skills but also her point of view as a mother to a newborn. The said innovation paves the way for reaching the sustainable development goals of reducing infant mortality faster.

Israel’s and India’s startups ecosystem are compatible rather than competing. This competition is one of many bridges that carry out bilateral ‘innovation corridor’.
