Uzbek MoH col­lab­o­rates with South Korean clin­ics

A num­ber of meet­ings have been tak­ing place with the heads of the South Korean lead­ing clin­ics at the Uzbek Health Min­istry. Ga­chon Uni­ver­sity Gil Med­i­cal Cen­ter in In­cheon, My­ongji Hospi­tal in Seoul, Med­i­cal Leaders Cor­po­ra­tion, Chon­nam Na­tional Uni­ver­sity Hospi­tal in Gwangju and Kwai Chung Hospi­tal are the clin­ics in­volved in the col­lab­o­ra­tion.

A wide range of is­sues, in par­tic­u­lar, telemedicine, lead­ing Korean ex­perts’ mas­ter classes in Uzbek­istan, im­prov­ing of the skills of Uzbek doc­tors and train­ing of stu­dents in Korea, the con­struc­tion of high-tech and mod­ern clin­ics in Uzbek­istan, were dis­cussed dur­ing the meet­ings. Fol­low­ing the talks, the Uzbek Min­istry of Health and a num­ber of Korean clin­ics de­cided upon sign­ing rel­e­vant agree­ments and few mem­o­ran­dums of un­der­stand­ing.

Two more agree­ments are ex­pected to be signed with My­ongji Hospi­tal in Seoul and Chon­nam Na­tional Uni­ver­sity Hospi­tal in Gwangju. Ne­go­ti­a­tions were also held with the min­is­ter of health and wel­fare of Korea, where pri­or­ity di­rec­tions for the devel­op­ment of bi­lat­eral re­la­tions were dis­cussed.
