Philips plans fur­ther ex­pan­sion in Pak­istan

Royal Philips, a global leader in health tech­nol­ogy, re­cently an­nounced its plans to ex­pand its prod­ucts and ser­vices for per­sonal health pres­ence in the Pak­istan mar­ket. At an event at­tended by more than 300 lo­cal busi­ness and re­tail part­ners, Philips also un­veiled its am­bi­tions to im­prove the health and well-be­ing of peo­ple in Pak­istan through its prod­uct in­no­va­tion. The an­nounce­ment fol­lows Pak­istan’s so­cial and eco­nomic de­vel­op­ment over the past decade to be­come the world’s 24th largest econ­omy and pre­dic­tions that it will sur­pass Canada, Aus­tralia and South Korea, amongst oth­ers, to be the 16th largest by 2050. Philips’ ex­pan­sion plans in Pak­istan fol­low its suc­cess­ful global trans­for­ma­tion from con­sumer elec­tron­ics gi­ant to a world leader in health tech­nol­ogy that im­proves the health of pop­u­la­tions and en­ables bet­ter out­comes at ev­ery stage of along the health con­tin­uum – from healthy liv­ing and preven­tion, to di­ag­no­sis, treat­ment and home care.
