Attending to Alzheimer’s

The lack of fundamental knowledge about Alzheimer’s is the key reason why we have not been successful or close to preventing or slowing down the disease. But of course worldwide efforts are being made to validate existing therapeutics and discover newer targets. Hoping to find a solution soon.

Cutting edge prosthetics

Although good prosthetics and replacements are gradually becoming available, amputations are best preventable by provision of health education, early presentation and appropriate management of the common indications.

Vaccine Production

It is great to know that Indian companies are doing well in giving a tough fight to established players and acquiring global market share in the vaccine R&D domain. It would be best if the Indian firms collaborate with the government and expand their coverage of vaccines in India. This will improve their market penetration.

Ban Effect

With the recent call by the Health Ministry on banning 328 combination drugs, a big hole has been made in the pocket of many pharma companies. But the government has made a rational decision by keeping patient safety as the priority.
