Air Canada launches non-stop Toron­toMum­bai ser­vice

Canada’s flag car­rier has launched a new non-stop route be­tween Toronto and Mum­bai. The year-round, four times weekly ser­vice is op­er­ated with Air Canada’s Boe­ing 787-9 Dream­liner.

On Mon­day, Tues­day, Thurs­day and Satur­day, flight AC046 takes off from Toronto at 2135 and ar­rives in Mum­bai at 2130 the next day.

On Tues­day, Wed­nes­day, Fri­day and Satur­day, flight AC047 takes off from Mum­bai at 2330 and ar­rives in Toronto at 0510 the next day.

The Boe­ing 787-9 Dream­liner fea­tures 30 busi­ness class lie-flat suites, 21 seats in pre­mium econ­omy and 247 in the econ­omy class.

This flight is the third route we have started to In­dia in less than two years, demon­strat­ing our com­mit­ment to this vi­brant mar­ket as well as our con­tin­u­ing in­ter­na­tional ex­pan­sion strat­egy. This is the only non-stop ser­vice be­tween Canada and Mum­bai and po­si­tions Air Canada as of­fer­ing the best cov­er­age of any car­rier oper­at­ing be­tween Canada and In­dia.”

Air Canada flies its Boe­ing 787 Dream­liner on the year-round daily Toronto-Delhi and sea­sonal Van­cou­ver-Delhi routes. The lat­ter will re­sume in Oc­to­ber this year and will ex­pand to five times weekly from what was three times weekly last winter. air­canada.com
