- Akanksha Maker Managing Editor

Welcome to the h anniversary issue of Business Traveller India. We’ve turned ve and it’s safe to say, it’s been quite an eventful half decade from 2015, when we brought to you our rst issue. From then on, we’ve constantly endeavoured to present frequent travellers like yourselves with relevant reads by our seasoned editorial team. To say times are tough for the frequent corporate traveller is an understatement. With the pandemic of Covid-19 halting travel around the world, it is imperative for us to practice social distancing and look a er our wellbeing. Featured across our sections is a host of information with regards to the issue at hand, including what select hotels are doing to handle the crisis. Having said that, in view of the current world-wide scenario, we have taken the decision to combine our April, May, June and July issues.

is is a time to re ect on our travels over the years, and our cover story takes you on a virtual journey of global cities and what they shine for, in our opinion. We also recommend hotels to bookmark at these metropolises, so you know where to stay once international travel opens up again.

Speaking of hotels, our hospitality section takes an in-depth view of some of our preferred hotel destinations in India, what they must be chosen for, as per your discerning travel tastes.

From iconic watches to put on your wrist this year, expert opinions by authorities in hospitality and reviews of hotels, lounges and restaurants, this combined issue blends an array of subjects you will nd useful during this quiet travel time.

Until then, be safe and I do hope to see you all travel again - soon.
