TOYOTA KIRLOSKAR MOTOR ALSO TOOK THE WRAPS OFF A LIMITEDedition Corolla Altis in India. The car has been priced at Rs 14.68 lakh for the 1.8-litre petrol variant and Rs 16 lakh for the 1.4-litre diesel one (both ex-showroom, Delhi).

On the outside, only the rear badge has been upgraded. Inside, however, is where the real changes can be seen. First, the Bluetoothcompatible smart link infotainment system that also receives hand gesture controls. Then there’s the wood-finished door panels, gear-knob and window controls. The leather seats are also embossed with the word ‘Limited’ to drive home the car’s exclusivity. Finally, the scu¤-plates on the door-sills are now illuminated in this version of the car. The engine, drivetrain and all the other mechanicals remain the same as before.
