BRAKE FLUID

Car India - - BOSCH TECHNO BIBLE -

It is the fluid that transmits the force hydraulically to various parts of the braking system once the brake pedal is pressed. It functions based on Pascal’s law of hydraulics: ‘a force applied at one point on an enclosed fluid is transmitted undiminished to all points in the fluid’. Brake fluid is highly noncompressible with an extremely high boiling point. The higher the DOT rating (DOT3, 4, 5.1), the higher its boiling point and compatibility with more demanding operating environments.
