Micra Goes Festive
The Nissan Micra is one of the many compact hatchbacks available in India. Nissan have decided to introduce a few new elements to ensure it stands out this festive season, including a new ‘Sunshine Orange’ colour and a blacked-out interior to go with it. Both are available across the Micra Active and Micra manual and CVT automatic range, and without any change in price.
GT-R Bookings Open
Nissan have opened bookings for their supercar-killing GT-R at Rs 25 lakh. The R35 faceli model, with 570 PS and 637 Nm from the 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6, was launched recently across the globe and will be the model that makes its way to India. Expect a price-tag of around Rs 1.9 crore.
Fourth-gen City Crosses 2,00,000
Honda are celebrating the 2 lakh sales milestone for the fourth-generation City in India, the quickest yet for a mid-size sedan. The latest model racked up sales of 2,00,098 units by the end of August 2016. It also takes the cumulative sales number for the Honda City to over 6.3 lakh. This comes thanks to Honda o¡ering the City with a diesel option for the first time ever, along with the petrol one.
Safety Update for i20 Duo
Hyundai have launched the automatic petrol variant of the Elite i20 with the 1.4-litre 100-PS petrol engine paired to a four-speed automatic transmission. The company also announced an upgrade to the Elite i20 Asta(O) and i20 Active SX trims, both of which will now be equipped with six airbags. All variants now feature speedsensing automatic door-locks and height-adjustable front seat-belts. CAR INDIA
