Mi­cra Goes Fes­tive

The Nis­san Mi­cra is one of the many com­pact hatch­backs avail­able in In­dia. Nis­san have de­cided to in­tro­duce a few new el­e­ments to en­sure it stands out this fes­tive sea­son, in­clud­ing a new ‘Sun­shine Or­ange’ colour and a blacked-out in­te­rior to go with it. Both are avail­able across the Mi­cra Ac­tive and Mi­cra man­ual and CVT au­to­matic range, and with­out any change in price.

GT-R Book­ings Open

Nis­san have opened book­ings for their supercar-killing GT-R at Rs 25 lakh. The R35 faceliš model, with 570 PS and 637 Nm from the 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6, was launched re­cently across the globe and will be the model that makes its way to In­dia. Ex­pect a price-tag of around Rs 1.9 crore.

Fourth-gen City Crosses 2,00,000

Honda are cel­e­brat­ing the 2 lakh sales milestone for the fourth-gen­er­a­tion City in In­dia, the quick­est yet for a mid-size sedan. The lat­est model racked up sales of 2,00,098 units by the end of Au­gust 2016. It also takes the cu­mu­la­tive sales num­ber for the Honda City to over 6.3 lakh. This comes thanks to Honda o¡er­ing the City with a diesel op­tion for the first time ever, along with the petrol one.

Safety Up­date for i20 Duo

Hyundai have launched the au­to­matic petrol vari­ant of the Elite i20 with the 1.4-litre 100-PS petrol en­gine paired to a four-speed au­to­matic trans­mis­sion. The com­pany also an­nounced an up­grade to the Elite i20 Asta(O) and i20 Ac­tive SX trims, both of which will now be equipped with six airbags. All vari­ants now fea­ture speed­sens­ing au­to­matic door-locks and height-ad­justable front seat-belts. CAR IN­DIA
