Honda have just launched the ne w WR-V crossover with prices starting from Rs 7.75 lakh (e x-showroom, Delhi). The Honda WR-V is based on the existing Honda Jazz hatchback, but gets a meatier front end and a higher gr ound clearance of 188 mm.
Under the hood, the WR-V packs a familiar 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine which produces 90 PS and 110 Nm, p aired to a five-speed manual gearbox driving the front wheels. The diesel option is the 1.5-litre i-DTEC turbo-diesel engine which de velops 100 PS and 200 Nm. The diesel engine is p aired to a six-speed manual gearbox.
