LGB Formula 4
Chittesh Mandody (Avalanche Racing) was the fastest man during qualifying. During the early part of the race, Diljith overtook Chittesh and led the pack. However, Chittesh quickly regained the top spot and held on to it until the finish; just about fighting off Rohit Khanna (Dark Don Racing) and Vishnu. Rohit and Vishnu finished in second and third places r espectively.
Starting from pole, Diljith was in a class of his own throughout the race. After engaging in a brief fight for the top spot with Raghul Rangasamy, he consistently pulled away from the pack with each lap. Ultimately, he finished first with a clear six-second lead over second-placed Raghul. Although he fought valiantly, Sandeep Kumar A (Dark Don Racing) was unable to best Raghul’s pace and had to be content with third place.
A false start by Sandeep led to the race being red-flagged and restarted. Amid all the confusion, Diljith managed to build up an unassailable lead, eventually clinching his second win of the weekend. Sandeep and Raghul took second and third places respectively.
At the end of the penultimate round, Chittesh tops the table with 62 points. He is followed by Vishnu and Sandeep with 49 and 43 points respectively.
