10th Sino-In­ter­na­tional Freight For­warders Con­fer­ence to at­tract over 12,000 par­tic­i­pants

over 1,200 of the world’s lead­ing in­de­pen­dent freight for­warders will gather in Xi­a­men, China from 16-19 Septem­ber for lo­gis­tics net­work­ing. Co-or­gan­ised by China In­ter­na­tional Freight For­warders As­so­ci­a­tion (CIFA) – the coun­try’s lead­ing lo­gis­tics or­gan­i­sa­tion, and WCA – the world’s largest freight for­warder’s net­work, the an­nual Sino-In­ter­na­tional Freight For­warders Con­fer­ence is cel­e­brat­ing its 10th an­niver­sary. Open to all in­de­pen­dent freight for­ward­ing com­pa­nies from around the globe, as well as lo­gis­tics ven­dors and sup­pli­ers, the Sino-In­ter­na­tional Con­fer­ence at­tracts key de­ci­sion-mak­ers. Ac­cord­ing to Zhao Hux­i­ang, CIFA Pres­i­dent and Vice-Pres­i­dent of FIATA Ex­tended Board, the event is a vi­tal tool in the cre­ation of new part­ner­ships be­tween freight for­warders all over the world. In 2012, it at­tracted 1,105 del­e­gates from over 115 coun­tries. “The event this year will see con­firmed par­tic­i­pa­tion from top-level ex­ec­u­tives rep­re­sent­ing China’s largest lo­gis­tics com­pa­nies – all of which are ac­tively seek­ing new in­ter­na­tional part­ners and busi­ness re­la­tion­ships,” he said. Hux­i­ang also in­formed that all del­e­gates will be able to pre-ar­range their meet­ings us­ing the one-on-one sched­uler. Over 70,000 in­di­vid­ual meet­ings will be sched­uled and con­ducted dur­ing the event.
