‘New tech is the way to go’

A global leader in prod­ucts and ser­vices that pro­vide real-time vis­i­bil­ity into or­ga­ni­za­tions’ as­sets, peo­ple and trans­ac­tions, Ze­bra Tech­nolo­gies Cor­po­ra­tion has re­cently show­cased its suite of sup­ply chain tech­nol­ogy and so­lu­tions, and demon­strat­ing how the In­ter­net of Things (IoT) can ben­e­fit man­u­fac­tures in IWS 2014.

To­gether with its part­ners Bar Code In­dia Ltd. (BCIL) and In­tel­li­con, Ze­bra Tech­nolo­gies show­cased its suite of bar­code & RFID so­lu­tions and ap­pli­ca­tions for man­u­fac­tur­ers. Apart from the sup­ply chain tech­nol­ogy, Ze­bra also shared a pre­view of its up­com­ing table­top prin­ter that will soon be avail­able in In­dia – the ZT410, de­liv­er­ing ad­vance­ments in print speed, regis­tra­tion and con­nec­tiv­ity. Speak­ing on the ad­vance tech­nol­ogy used by his com­pany, In­der­preet Singh, Head, Bar­code and Sup­plies In­dia and Sub-- Con­ti­nent, Ze­bra Tech­nolo­gies, said that, “The era of big data gives ev­ery man­u­fac­tur­ing as­set, whether ma­chine, com­po­nent or fin­ished goods, a dig­i­tal pro­file. When man­u­fac­tur­ers gain vis­i­bil­ity of that pro­file, it gives them the op­por­tu­nity to make op­ti­mized pro­duc­tion a re­al­ity.”
