Tadesse Tilahun is the Ethiopian Airlines’ Regional Director India Sub-Continent and will be stationed in Mumbai. Tilahun joined Ethiopian Airlines in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in October, 2000 as a Flight Control Agent in Flight Operations. He has served as Senior Flight Control Agent, Flight Dispatcher and Route Planner. He has also served as Manager Schedules and Network in Commercial planning and Revenue Management Division. He was appointed as Traffic and Sales Manager, Northern India until his recent appointment.

Schensema brings 25 years’ experience in shipping and logistics to his new role as GAC North America Logistics’ Managing Director, including expertise in international freight forwarding, contract logistics management, and automotive logistics, oil & gas support and ship agency management. Schensema has a passion for philanthropy, particularly animal welfare, environment and underprivileged children. He will be reporting directly to Lars Heisselberg, Group Vice President – Americas.
Jet Airways (India) Limited has approved the appointment of
Cramer Ball as the Chief Executive Officer of the company. Ball has almost two decades of senior level experience in the aviation industry and completed, earlier this year, a two year term as the Chief Executive Officer of Air Seychelles, where he led a major restructuring programme that returned the airline to profitability in 2012 and 2013. Ball, an Australian national, is a certified accountant and an accomplished airline executive with extensive experience in the aviation industry.
Global shipping, logistics and marine services provider GAC has appointed Fredrik Nyström as its new Group Vice President for the Asia Pacific region, taking over the charge from Dan Hjalmarsson, who has retired. Nyström has been GAC’s Regional Business Controller based at the Regional Office in Singapore since 2007. Fredrik continues the work of his predecessor to guide the activities and expand the business of GAC companies throughout the region in line with the group’s ongoing growth strategy.
Amit Mehta, has been appointed as the Area Manager –North & East India region of Malaysia Airlines. He will be responsible for augmenting the airline’s operation in the northern and the eastern market in India. Mehta has been working with Malaysia Airlines since 2007 as the Sales Manager- North India region and brings with him 7 years of experience in sales. Mehta will focus on boosting Malaysia Airlines presence in the Indian market, driving global partnerships and strategic alliances. He will be completely taking charge of GTM strategy and sales operations for the North and East region of India.
Rajeev Nambiar has joined the airline’s management team as Vice President – Sales (India). Nambiar will be responsible for developing and directing the implementation of the strategic, business and operational goals of the sales function and will directly report to the Chief Commercial Officer. He will have management responsibility for the achievement of customer acquisition and revenue goals (passenger sales) for India points of sale/territories. Having 18 years of rich experience in the field of sales with leading international carriers, Nambiar will be based in Mumbai.
