IWS-2014: One-stop shop for ware­hous­ing

The In­dia Ware­hous­ing Show 2014 com­pleted another year of bring­ing the en­tire sup­ply chain so­lu­tions un­der one roof. The show was much ap­pre­ci­ated by its par­tic­i­pants for be­ing a great busi­ness match­mak­ing & learn­ing plat­form for the in­dus­try.

Re­cently held at Pra­gati Maidan in New Delhi, the 4th In­dia Ware­hous­ing Show lifted the spir­its of ware­hous­ing & lo­gis­tics in­dus­try by bring­ing com­plete sup­ply chain so­lu­tions on one plat­form. Held from July 8-10, the ex­hi­bi­tion was or­gan­ised by Reed Manch Ex­hi­bi­tions and was at­tended by 7,818 trade vis­i­tors rep­re­sent­ing 220 cities glob­ally and fea­tured 210 ex­hibitors and 380 live tech­nolo­gies from 25 coun­tries.

Dis­play­ing com­plete range of so­lu­tions in­clud­ing ware­hous­ing in­fra­struc­ture, ma­te­rial han­dling equip­ments, au­to­ma­tion so­lu­tions, stor­age so­lu­tions, lo­gis­tics and sup­ply chain al­to­gether — IWS 2014 gave its at­ten­dees the ben­e­fit of choos­ing, ex­plor­ing and ex­pe­ri­enc­ing prod­ucts live and func­tional. And above all the things, the ex­hi­bi­tion gave an op­por­tu­nity to the at­ten­dees to in­ter­act face-to-face with the man­u­fac­tur­ers, sup­pli­ers and deal­ers to make it a trans­par­ent in­ter­face.

Apart from dis­play­ing var­i­ous so­lu­tions of lo­gis­tics & ware­hous­ing in­dus­try, the show also fea­tured some spe­cial­ized zones/pavil­ions such as — US Pav­il­ion, Sup­ply Chain Zone, Au­to­ma­tion 4 Lo­gis­tics, Pack­ag­ing 4 Lo­gis­tics and the in­ter­na­tional pav­il­ion. The ex­hi­bi­tion was in­au­gu­rated by Di­nesh Rai, Chair­man of Ware­hous­ing Devel­op­ment & Reg­u­la­tory Au­thor­ity (WDRA) and saw many dig­ni­taries at­tend­ing the show.

The high­light of the IWS-2014 was the con­cur­rent con­fer­ence, which was based on the theme ‘Lo­gis­ti­cate Your Busi­ness: Bet­ter Plan­ning is a Key to Prof­itabil­ity’, and it brought to­gether end-users of lo­gis­tics ser­vices and so­lu­tions from all walks of in­dus­tries de­pend­ing on lo­gis­tics and ware­hous­ing in In­dia.

The con­fer­ence gave am­ple of busi­ness match­mak­ing and learn­ing op­por­tu­ni­ties to the var­i­ous strata of peo­ple. The show was such a suc­cess that peo­ple even vis­ited the venue af­ter the clos­ing hours.

The 4th In­dia Ware­hous­ing Show (IWS) 2014 or­gan­ised by Reed Manch in Pra­gati Maidan on July 8-11 saw an enor­mous par­tic­i­pa­tion of peo­ple this time. There was en­thu­si­asm amongst the par­tic­i­pants as al­most 210 ex­hibitors’ par­tic­i­pated and 380 live tech­nolo­gies from 25 coun­tries were brought in one place. The show was well re­ceived and was at­tended by 7,818 trade vis­i­tors rep­re­sent­ing around 220 cities glob­ally. IWS 2014 was ap­pre­ci­ated for be­ing busi­ness match­mak­ing & learn­ing plat­form for the in­dus­try. Vis­i­tors were also seen ap­plaud­ing the lat­est tech­nolo­gies of lo­gis­tics and ware­house in­dus­try.
