IWS-2014: One-stop shop for warehousing
The India Warehousing Show 2014 completed another year of bringing the entire supply chain solutions under one roof. The show was much appreciated by its participants for being a great business matchmaking & learning platform for the industry.
Recently held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, the 4th India Warehousing Show lifted the spirits of warehousing & logistics industry by bringing complete supply chain solutions on one platform. Held from July 8-10, the exhibition was organised by Reed Manch Exhibitions and was attended by 7,818 trade visitors representing 220 cities globally and featured 210 exhibitors and 380 live technologies from 25 countries.
Displaying complete range of solutions including warehousing infrastructure, material handling equipments, automation solutions, storage solutions, logistics and supply chain altogether — IWS 2014 gave its attendees the benefit of choosing, exploring and experiencing products live and functional. And above all the things, the exhibition gave an opportunity to the attendees to interact face-to-face with the manufacturers, suppliers and dealers to make it a transparent interface.
Apart from displaying various solutions of logistics & warehousing industry, the show also featured some specialized zones/pavilions such as — US Pavilion, Supply Chain Zone, Automation 4 Logistics, Packaging 4 Logistics and the international pavilion. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dinesh Rai, Chairman of Warehousing Development & Regulatory Authority (WDRA) and saw many dignitaries attending the show.
The highlight of the IWS-2014 was the concurrent conference, which was based on the theme ‘Logisticate Your Business: Better Planning is a Key to Profitability’, and it brought together end-users of logistics services and solutions from all walks of industries depending on logistics and warehousing in India.
The conference gave ample of business matchmaking and learning opportunities to the various strata of people. The show was such a success that people even visited the venue after the closing hours.
The 4th India Warehousing Show (IWS) 2014 organised by Reed Manch in Pragati Maidan on July 8-11 saw an enormous participation of people this time. There was enthusiasm amongst the participants as almost 210 exhibitors’ participated and 380 live technologies from 25 countries were brought in one place.
