Held in the first week of July at Novotel Airport Hotel, Hyderabad the latest honour marks the growing presence and significance of the Academy as it has designed its own Standardised Training Package (STP), which has been validated and approved by ICAO to facilitate this elevation. Currently, only two aviation training centres in India enjoy this coveted status, of them, one is in the government sector and the second is GMR Aviation Academy which is the only academy in the private sector in India to have been bestowed with this honour.
