Supreme launches AC ap­pli­ca­tions

Supreme in­tro­duces INSUflex a high vapour resistant in­su­la­tor for air-con­di­tion­ing ap­pli­ca­tions. With this Supreme’s In­su­la­tion Di­vi­sion of­fers so­lu­tions in the ar­eas of duct­ing in­su­la­tion, un­der deck in­su­la­tion, pipe in­su­la­tion, floor in­su­la­tion, in­su­la­tion joint seal­ing tapes, sound in­su­la­tion, over deck in­su­la­tion, wall in­su­la­tion. INSUflex has a very high dif­fu­sion re­sis­tance fac­tor to wa­ter vapour trans­mis­sion, a low ther­mal con­duc­tiv­ity and an ex­cel­lent fire safe per­for­mance. It is suit­able for a tem­per­a­ture rang­ing from –55oC to +105oC. The prod­uct does not de­pend on any ad­di­tional outer thick skin or cov­er­ing but is in built with the in­su­la­tion and ex­tends through the full thick­ness. INSUflex range is resistant to cor­ro­sion, fun­gal and mildew growth and is there­fore suit­able for clean room ap­pli­ca­tions. In­su­la­tion ma­te­rial with a low ‘K’ value equates to a high en­ergy sav­ing po­ten­tial and ther­mal per­for­mance. The ad­van­tage of ‘INSUflex’ are its is flex­i­ble at low tem­per­a­ture, clean, dust-free, fast and easy in­stal­la­tion, low ther­mal con­duc­tiv­ity, pro­tects pipes against cor­ro­sion by en­vi­ron­ment el­e­ments, low toxicity in­dex of­fers min­i­mal toxic fire haz­ard for safety as­sur­ance and res­cue op­er­a­tions, good fire per­for­mance, for build­ings with high oc­cu­pancy, Class 1 prod­uct, unique closed-cell struc­ture, pro­vides an ideal va­por bar­rier re­sis­tance.

INSUflex is avail­able in com­bi­na­tions of var­i­ous wall thick­nesses and di­am­e­ters to suit G.I., cop­per and PVC pipes.
