Dhule gets Safexpress logistics park
A new hi-tech logistics park has been set up by Safexpress at Dhule which is a hub for both agricultural and textile industries. It will provide seamless movement of goods enabling unhindered deliveries to over 610 destinations across the country.
Dhule witnessed the launch of a new hi-tech logistics park spanning over an area of 12, 50,000 sqft, by Safexpress. The enormous logistics facility is located on NH-8.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Rubal Jain, Director - Corporate Strategy, Safexpress said, “Dhule comprises numerous small-scale industries that fall under Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation. Dhule is a hub for both agricultural and textile industries. A large number of edible oil manufacturing plants and food processing units are located in this belt. Raw materials for paper mills, cotton mills and readymade garment industries are also available from this region.”
Vineet Kanaujia, VP – Marketing, Safexpress, highlighting the USP of the logistics park at Dhule, said, “Our logistics park at Dhule enables loading/unloading of over 108 vehicles simultaneously. The dedicated bays and docks at our logistics park in Dhule provide an uninterrupted and unidirectional flow of inbound and outbound goods. The logistics park has a floor load capacity of six metric tonnes per sqm and has a truck docking area width of over 80 feet. Moreover, to make our logistics park eco-friendly, we have taken special ‘Go Green’ initiatives by investing in rainwater harvesting and develop- ing special green zones,” adding, “This logistics park will be operational 24×7, 365 days in a year to provide time-definite deliveries. Due to our non-stop operations, we will be providing the fastest transit time for deliveries all across India to over 610 destinations from Dhule.”
