Freighters that move cargo to and from Africa:
Ethiopian Airlines has taken delivery of a third B777- 200LR freighter. The airline holds the distinction as the only African operator of B777 freighters, which are perfectly suited for the transport of Ethiopia’s growing export of perishables such as fruits, flowers, vegetables and meat. Saudi Cargo currently operate 24 wide body 747F flying into seven destinations into Africa (ADD, KRT, NDJ, LOS, NBO, JNB & KAN) and connecting many more from online points. These flights connect into hubs at RUH and JED from where cargo is fed into and onwards to other points in the network operates. The airline also has charter operations into Africa serving the oil and gas markets and the relief air organisations.
