IATA goes to Montreal for lively dis­cus­sions

Montreal, Canada is the place to be for air cargo pro­fes­sion­als this Septem­ber as the In­ter­na­tional Air Trans­port As­so­ci­a­tion (IATA) is or­gan­is­ing a dis­cus­sion on five cru­cial as­pects of the air cargo industry.

With cus­toms author­i­ties in­creas­ingly man­dat­ing the elec­tronic trans­mis­sion of data, the Cargo XML Work­shop prom­ises to pro­vide you the nec­es­sary in­for­ma­tion and tools to adopt Cargo XML.

The ULD Reg­u­la­tory Fo­rum will bring to­gether del­e­gates from the industry and reg­u­la­tory author­i­ties and re­in­force the im­por­tance of co­op­er­a­tion when it comes to ULDs. Safe ULD op­er­a­tions are es­sen­tial to flight safety, so both reg­u­la­tors and industry are pay­ing more at­ten­tion to en­sur­ing reg­u­la­tory re­quire­ments, stan­dards and pro­ce­dures are met across the ULD op­er­a­tional chain.
