The industry has been facing some challenges in attracting youth to work in this sector. There are a lot of reasons for this. Poor working conditions, low pay scales relative to other careers, poor or non-existent manpower policies and the prevalence of unscrupulous practices all add to the segment's woes. Improvement is expected with regard to all these now with a lot of investments coming into the sector because of the growth of the ecommerce business and increase in economic activity across the country.
