It was a formal black tie ceremony that was glitzy, glamorous and graced by the Who’s Who of the cargo industry.

I am thankful to the publication for this recognition. The whole ceremony was well planned and beautifully executed. I would like to say, this industry has made me what I am today. Well, if we are looking to become the world’s second largest economy and have double digit GDP and industrial growth, there is no way cargo industry cannot be looked after or be neglected. We are going to be world’s biggest e-commerce market.

Tushar Jani

Chairman Blue Dart Aviation

The evening was exclusive. The who’s who must really get appreciated in this industry. It is really good that people in the cargo industry are now looking at the acknowledgement. This kind of function definitely encourages the industry to look ahead and the best part is what we have done in the past is being appreciated. I look forward to more of this event. India is booming so cargo will definitely boom. Fortunately, in our industry whether the country has more imports and/or exports, we will always be in business. So, our prospects are bright. Now the government is also looking seriously at the infrastructure.

Sam N Katgara

Partner Jeena & Company

This recognition means a lot to me. DDPPL has organised a wonderful function which is really different from the other cargo functions. Our industry is doing well. After the ‘Make in India’ campaign, the logistics industry has really picked up and has great potential for exports of the country.

Rahul Bhatia

Director TK Centenary Cargo Services

I feel really great. This award is a good recognition of our achievement. This is something we will cherish for long time. We are really looking forward to good times for the cargo industry in 2016.

Lokesh Matta AGM & Head of Airline Marketing Passenger and Cargo

Network, Bangalore International Airport

My success goes to my old team-mates who were really able to deliver more than what I expected. So, the credit for this award goes to them. It is a great feeling to get recognition. Dangerous goods compliance matter is coming to the podium due to the incidents happening worldwide. Now, the government is also implementing the regulations and compliance will become the priority. So, those dangerous goods which were not moving earlier in a regulated manner will start moving in a regulated manner.

Radharamnan Panicker Managing Director

DGM India

I feel absolutely privileged and overwhelmed. The award ceremony was very unique. I feel it is one of the best ceremonies in the supply chain and logistics industry. The Indian Supply Chain and logistics industry is a $120 billion industry. It is the backbone of our economy and right now, in tough recessionary times, this industry has larger role to play to take on the entire business.

Vineet Kanaujia Vice President – Marketing

It was a very promising event and the trade got good recognition. This event made people learn more things and gave them a boost to perform better in the future. With the growth of the e-commerce market, new technology and many other innovations are coming up. The future is really bright for air cargo.
