The po­ten­tial is huge. In­dia has all the in­gre­di­ents to be one of the world’s great air cargo cen­tres. The In­dian govern­ment has made sig­nif­i­cant ef­forts to upgrade in­fra­struc­ture, but much more is needed. Im­proved in­fra­struc­ture is the in­dus­try’s great­est need. Air­ports such as Delhi, Ban­ga­lore, Hyderabad, have mod­ern cargo fa­cil­i­ties. Other ma­jor air­ports in the coun­try need to upgrade and cre­ate sim­i­lar fa­cil­i­ties.
