DTDC man­age­ment de­liv­ers with a smile

In this first-of-its-kind-ini­tia­tive ‘Last Mile with a Smile’, the top ‘C’ level man­age­ment will be lead­ing the DTDC de­liv­ery line-up from the front to per­son­ally de­liver pack­ages to con­sumers ev­ery month.

As a first step to­wards a vi­sion of cre­at­ing a ‘Dig­i­tal DTDC’ the an­nounce­ment of the launch of its new app Smart Track, was done amidst flag­ging off of ‘Last Mile with a Smile’ ini­tia­tive. This will en­able the de­liv­ery per­sons to ef­fec­tively man­age track­ing of the pack­ages through­out the de­liv­ery cy­cle.

Sub­ha­sish Chakraborty, Chair­man & Man­ag­ing Di­rec­tor and Ab­hishek Chakraborty, Ex­ec­u­tive Di­rec­tor, DTDC Ex­press de­liv­ered ship­ments in the Jan­uary phase of en­tire or­gan­i­sa­tion fo­cused on achiev­ing cus­tomer sat­is­fac­tion. We have re­ceived an over­whelm­ing re­sponse in the ini­tial phase of the cam­paign and will con­tinue to keep this unique ini­tia­tive go­ing ev­ery month to at­tain op­er­a­tional ex­cel­lence through con­tin­u­ous ef­forts in the ground level un­der­stand­ing of our cus­tomer’s griev­ances.” The Smart Track app will gen­er­ate near-in­stant de­liv­ery up­dates and ship­ment track­ing to all stake­hold­ers.
