First-ever container library in Ajmer
To bridge the skill gaps, Safeducate has come up with an innovative idea of mobile library to provide easy access to high-quality books.
Safeducate has launched the first-of-its-kind container library in the month of August, 2016 at Ajmer, Rajasthan. Vasundhara Raje, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Government of India inaugurated the Safeducate container library.
Raje said, “This container library signifies our efforts towards promoting education in Rajasthan. We will create many such container libraries all over Rajasthan and ensure that our people benefit from the high quality books available in these libraries. I strongly believe that education must be imparted to each and every person, irrespective of her economic status or gender. Therefore, we are ensuring that these Container Libraries are accessible to people from all walks of life.”
Gaurav Goyal, District Collector of Ajmer, Government of India said, “This is a mobile library and will be moved to different locations across Ajmer, so that maximum number of people can benefit from it.”
Divya Jain, Founder & CEO, Safeducate said, “Safeducate Container Library is a unique endeavour by us to create a mobile library. This is made out of a refurbished container, as a part of our Go Green initiative. The Safeducate container library can be easily moved to any location across India. Many such container libraries will be set up in the near future.”
“It is a learning hub, where students can gain knowledge on a variety of subjects. Millions of people across Rajasthan will benefit from this library. The library has a vast collection of books and periodicals meant for various age groups. We need to channelise the energy of our youth into education in a big way, and the Safeducate Container Library will help drive that, especially from the perspective of those who do not have the access to high quality books.”
