50 CCTVs to be Installed at Khadki Cantonment Board
The Khadki Cantonment Board (KCB) will be installing 50 closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras in its limits for security and safety purposes. Thus, the number of CCTV cameras installed will rise to 110. Amol Jagtap, Chief Executive Ofcer, KCB, said, “We plan to install CCTV cameras at busy and sensitive spots to enhance safety and security in the area. A survey will be conducted to identify such spots in the cantonment limits.” The KCB will need three months to complete the survey and the tender process, following which the cameras will be installed. “We expect the cameras’ installation work to be completed in six months from now,” Jagtap said.
