Un­veil­ing the nal four­teen be­fore an ea­ger press

The tal­ented FOUR­TEEN FI­NAL­ISTS of MR & MISS CI­TADEL PUNE 2017 were in­tro­duced to the media ahead of the groom­ing ses­sions and the grand fi­nale of CI­TADEL EX­TRAV­A­GANZA 2017. Ci­tadel brings to its read­ers the key high­lights of the evening.

The 15th edi­tion of Mr & Miss Ci­tadel Pune 2017 was a show like none other! The four­teen fi­nal­ists, who daz­zled the au­di­ence with their ex­tra­or­di­nary mod­el­ling skills, were the key high­lights of the ex­trav­a­gant show! Af­ter t he gru­elling au­di­tion­ing process based on height, over­all per­son­al­ity and pres­ence of mind, seven boys and seven girls were short­listed from across the coun­try and globe, in­clud­ing con­tes­tants from Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune, Bhutan, etc. The four­teen fi­nal­ists were groomed by the lead­ing tal­ent groomer, Lovell Prabhu. Prior to the grand fi­nale, the short­listed hand­some men and beau­ti­ful ladies were in­tro­duced to the media at Ho­tel Pride, one of the renowned ho­tels of the city. Tr­isha Mukher­jee, the reign­ing Miss Ci­tadel, an­chored the spec­tac­u­lar evening of the press con­fer­ence flaw­lessly. She was seen in­ter­act­ing with the fi­nal­ists, ask­ing them to in­tro­duce them­selves to the press and es­teemed guests who had at­tended the event.

Next, Nari Hira (Chair­man, Magna Pub­lish­ing Co Ltd), Ashok Dhamankar (Direc­tor, Magna Pub­lish­ing Co Ltd), Rashmi Jha (Bol­ly­wood ac­tor), and Nishad Shinde (Ed­i­tor, Ci­tadel), were called up on stage to un­veil An­jKreation presents Mr & Miss Ci­tadel Pune 2017. Post the un­veil­ing of the beauty pageant, the fi­nal­ists were in­vited on stage to speak a few words about them­selves, and how they are plan­ning to pre­pare for the con­test in or­der to rise above their con­tem­po­raries. Mov­ing on, Rashmi Jha, the Chief Guest, who has made her Bol­ly­wood de­but in Indu Sarkar was in­vited on stage to in­ter­act with the fi­nal­ists. The beau­ti­ful Bol­ly­wood ac­tress was quoted say­ing, “There is no mantra for achiev­ing suc­cess in life, how­ever, suc­cess will au­to­mat­i­cally come to you if you are ready to walk the ex­tra mile.” The event cul­mi­nated with photo-ops of the fi­nal­ists and dig­ni­taries. All in all, it was a mag­nif­i­cent evening, set­ting up the stage for the D-day.
