DOMINO’S AND DUNKIN’ DONUTS JOIN HANDS FOR CLEANLINESS
From Mumbai and Pune, around 1,500 employees of Domino’s and Dunkin’ Donuts participated in a post Ganesh immersion cleaning drive. Volunteers from Jubilant Foodworks Ltd (JFL) were joined by several citizens in the neighbourhood for cleaning up of debris, waste and plastic bags from beaches and surrounding water bodies. It took over three hours for volunteers to remove t he leftovers from Juhu beach in Mumbai post i mmersion. In addition to Mumbai and Pune, the cleaning drive took place in 21 more locations across west and central India a day after thousands of worshippers celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi. The cities included under this initiative were Surat, Baroda, Ahmedabad, Daman, Goa, Nashik, Jalgaon, Dhule, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Solapur, Sangli, Satara, Nagpur, Jabalpur, Vasai, Butibori, Nagar, Bhavnagar, Navi Mumbai and Thane.
