DOMINO’S AND DUNKIN’ DONUTS JOIN HANDS FOR CLEAN­LI­NESS

From Mumbai and Pune, around 1,500 em­ploy­ees of Domino’s and Dunkin’ Donuts par­tic­i­pated in a post Ganesh im­mer­sion clean­ing drive. Volunteers from Ju­bi­lant Food­works Ltd (JFL) were joined by sev­eral ci­ti­zens in the neigh­bour­hood for clean­ing up of de­bris, waste and plas­tic bags from beaches and sur­round­ing wa­ter bod­ies. It took over three hours for volunteers to re­move t he left­overs from Juhu beach in Mumbai post i mmer­sion. In ad­di­tion to Mumbai and Pune, the clean­ing drive took place in 21 more lo­ca­tions across west and cen­tral In­dia a day af­ter thou­sands of wor­ship­pers cel­e­brated Ganesh Chaturthi. The cities in­cluded un­der this ini­tia­tive were Su­rat, Bar­oda, Ahmed­abad, Da­man, Goa, Nashik, Jal­gaon, Dhule, Au­rangabad, Kol­ha­pur, So­la­pur, San­gli, Satara, Nag­pur, Ja­balpur, Va­sai, Buti­bori, Na­gar, Bhav­na­gar, Navi Mumbai and Thane.
