Af­ter gain­ing im­mense suc­cess for the past six years in Dubai and serv­ing peo­ple with le­git tra­di­tional food, this first ever ex­clu­sive Ma­ha­rash­trian fine-din­ing restau­rant has come to tit­il­late Punekars. “When it comes to Ma­ha­rash­trian cui­sine, it is only a few dishes like Vada Pav, Misal and Pu­ran Poli that are known pop­u­lar and known to many. But I wanted to change that per­cep­tion and bring to no­tice the other rich del­i­ca­cies of Ma­ha­rash­trian cui­sine glob­ally,” ex­pressed Sachin Deodhar, Owner, Peshwa Kitchen and Bar, when asked about the ini­ti­a­tion of the restau­rant. Not only the food, even the am­bi­ence boasts of the rich cul­tural her­itage of Ma­ha­rash­tra. The place is soberly dec­o­rated with re­gional art on walls, with cur­tains made of Paithani saris. It’s a must-visit place to get fa­mil­iarised with Ma­ha­rash­trian cul­ture.
