Every once in a while, there comes a place that totally redefines the concept of fine dine, of good food and of superlative service. 1BHK Superbar is one such place. With extreme attention to detail in the décor, severely high standards of service and best dishes made from the freshest and the most authentic of ingredients, 1BHK forces you to rethink a lot about the restaurant industry. Having recently launched in Baner just a few short months ago, 1BHK Superbar offers al fresco seating, mezzanine seating as well as a soon-to-be-launched brassiere indoors. With amazing designs and artefacts adorning the wall, the vibe of the place is totally off the charts. “We need the staff to be involved with the customers, interact with them, and ensure the best experience of their life,” says owner Rajat Grover, who has designed the place exactly with this motto in mind, which has translated into a beautiful ambiance. The table hooked to a winch to lift and drop it to allow customers to sit on the other side, is a classic example of involving the staff with the customer’s overall dining experience. Customers are also allowed t o go fishing for their own wines with a fishing net in their wine section, and leftover wine is allowed to be kept in their ‘Wall of Wines’ that stretches a mile high from the lower floor all the way to the upper floor, along the spiral staircase. The customers’ all-immersive experience starts off with a proud disclaimer shared along with the menu to each and every table. 1BHK Superbar believes in being aligned with each and every point, which helps to make it an unforgettable experience for all.
Starting off with the cocktails, the Long Island Iced Tea (LIIT) was a standard affair with the usual mix of alcohols (5 or 6 at last count), yet pretty potent in itself, while the Taxicol (an overload of rum, with white, dark and spiced rums) was an immensely potent drink. One drink and you are pretty much ready to call a taxi to take you home, hence the name. #DeadlyPotent The 1BHK Bartenders Special Vodka Cheesecake Fusion was a stunner of a drink. Made with premium quality Ketel One vodka and blended with cheesecake (and served with one as well), this was as delicious to gulp as it was gorgeous to look at. #YumYum #HighlyRecommended The Nasha Paan is made with vodka and gin and has a nice strong flavour of the betel leaf. Can be taken as a drink to begin your evening with or as a palate cleanser, the way a paan is used, at the end of the meal.
