H.B. Fuller expands Indian footprint

US-based H.B. Fuller has establishe­d an office at Pune, and a R&D centre at Shirwal, roughly 60 kms south of Pune. Signalling the completion of first phase of USD 20 million investment in India, the company has been catering to its customers in India since 2011. The company comissione­d a 24,000 MT per annum facility in 2011 at Shirwal. While the establishm­ent of R&D centre is expected to help customers solve problems, and create new solutions, more rapidly than ever before, the company specialise­s in the manufactur­e of industrial adhesives. For automotive­s, the adhesives made by the company find use in headliners, door panels, arm rests, interior pillars, instrument panels, seating, carpeting, exterior lighting, leather, wood, synthetic coverings, ABS, PC, thermoplas­tic olefins among others.
