Elgi Equip­ments has un­veiled a new brand iden­tity and logo as part of its en­deav­our to be­come the world’s num­ber-two player by 2027. Spe­cial­is­ing in air-com­pres­sors, Elgi is bank­ing on in­no­va­tion to of­fer en­ergy ef­fi­cient and oil free com­pres­sors. Hav­ing earned a name for it­self by of­fer­ing sus­tain­able so­lu­tions that are help­ing com­pa­nies to achieve their pro­duc­tiv­ity goals and keep the cost own­er­ship low, Elgi is lay­ing em­pha­sis on indige­nous tech­nol­ogy, and re­search and devel­op­ment to in­no­vate. With a prod­uct port­fo­lio that in­cludes oil­lu­bri­cated and oil-free ro­tary screw com­pres­sors, oil-lu­bri­cated and oil­free re­cip­ro­cat­ing com­pres­sors, cen­trifu­gal com­pres­sors, dry­ers, fil­ters and down­stream ac­ces­sories, the com­pany to keen to carve out a larger share of the mar­ket. The air com­pres­sor mar­ket is grow­ing steadily, and is an­tic­i­pated to bridge the USD 20 bil­lion mark by 2023, with 3.6 per cent CAGR from 2016 to 2023.
