CV makers revise prices
Many CV makers have decided to revise the price of their vehicles post the implementation of GST. Deciding to pass on the entire benefit to the customers, Tata Motors, according to Girish Wagh, head of commercial vehicle business unit, has reduced the price of its commercial vehicles (cargo) in the range of 0.3 per cent to 4.21 per cent. The price of commercial vehicles (passenger transportation) have been reduced in the range of 0.6 per cent to 8.2 per cent. Isuzu Motors India has announced a price reduction of its D-Max pick-up range. The D-Max S-Cab is now priced at Rs.801,418 exshowroom Chennai. The D-Max Regular Cab is now priced at Rs. 681,004 ex-showroom Chennai. Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) has revised the price of its CVs in the range of 0.4 to 2.5 per cent. Mahindra & Mahindra has also announced a reduction in the price of its vehicles. In the case of SCVs it averages 1.1 per cent. It averages 0.5 per cent in the case of LCVs and HCVs. VE Commercial Vehicles has announced a price reduction of up to five per cent.
