Commercial Vehicle - - WHAT'S INSIDE -

From the time of demonetisation in November 2016, the CV industry faced turbulent times that spill over to 2017. Demonetisation was closely followed by the roll-out of BS IV emission norms and the Goods and Services Tax apart from the lull in the festive period. The volatility finally gave way to growth in December 2017 with volumes coming back to the CV industry. With 2018 expected to build upon the momentum, OEMs are hoping for an uptick in demand given the higher fleet utilisation levels by operators. The Government’s continued focus on infrastructure augurs well for the industry. Its only by way of a sustainable demand that the country can witness a surge in demand for advanced technology and modern trucks.
