Isuzu Motors India has commissioned a new dealer at Noida in the National Capital Region (NCR).

In an effort to increase its reach in the transportation and logistics market of the National Capital Region (NCR), Isuzu Motors India has appointed a new dealer. Following soon after the inauguration of a dealership at Bhuj, Gujarat, the new dealer – Select Isuzu, is located at Noida and is 3S in nature. Conforming to the Isuzu dealership standards, it is located on a land parcel of 20,000 sq. ft., and will further increase the reach of Isuzu’s D-Max commercial pick-up range to a region that is highly industrialised and home to a many automotive companies, suppliers, electronics goods manufacturers, export oriented units, FMCG companies and ecommerce players. Complementing the existing Isuzu dealership in Delhi, Faridabad and Gurugram, Select Isuzu will make it convenient for people to access service support. With the staff at the dealership trained by Isuzu, the dealership will also cater to owners of its lifestyle pick-up D-Max V-Cross and a new SUV it introduced some time ago. Speaking at the inauguration of Select Isuzu, Ken Takashima, Deputy Managing Director, Isuzu Motors India expressed that the move will increase the company’s reach to nearby cities of Meerut and Aligarh other than Noida. Select Isuzu, he said, will serve our customers better.

Rolling out the 10,000th vehicle from its greenfield manufacturing plant at SriCity, Andhra Pradesh, Isuzu Motors India has been investing in the expansion of dealers across India. As part of its endeavour to increase its reach, and penetrate the seemingly difficult market of pick-up trucks in India, the company currently has dealers at 35 locations. These, according to JS Srinivas, Vice President, Isuzu Motors India, are strategic to the interest of the company to take it closer to the transport and logistics sector as far as its Isuzu D-Max range of commercial pickups is concerned. Stating that penetration into the Indian mindset has been an uphill task, Srinivas mentioned, “Everyday is exciting for us.” Drawing attention to the company’s presence at prominent locations in India except North-East, Srinivas said, “We are focussing on tier 2 and tier 3 cities and will soon explore the North-East too.” Claiming to witness a 60 per cent growth in volumes since 2016, the company is looking at offering new exciting technologies through its products in India. Keen to carve out a niche for itself, Isuzu Motor India is looking at people who would buy their vehicles for different reasons, and be profitable.
