Ashok Leyland has launched “eN-Dhan“fuel card in partnership with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (PCL) as part of its ‘Drive Track Plus’ program to provide best-inclass savings in fuel to customers. This initiative, developed by the customer solutions business vertical of Ashok Leyland, aspires to develop a lifetime engagement with customers to positively impact all facets of their business by offering customised solutions. Expected to result in annual savings in the range of Rs.50,000 per annum per truck in the case of medium and heavy-duty CV customers, the eNDhan cards come free of charge and are available in Ashok Leyland dealerships across the country. To be used at all HPCL fuel stations, eN-DHan cards, according to Vinod K. Dasari, Managing Director, Ashok Leyland, signify innovation at the solutions end of the vehicle value chain. He drew attention to the fuel spends in the case of a CV in India, which range between 35 per cent and 60 per cent of the lifecycle cost. “Every rupee saved is an opportunity to plough back the profits, and grow the business,” he added.
