Ashok Ley­land West Africa has bagged a re­peat or­der of 147 Buses un­der Lines of Credit from Exim Bank of In­dia through Ecowas Bank of In­vest­ment & De­vel­op­ment (EBID) for Burk­ina Faso. It is the third project that the com­pany has bagged in Fran­co­phone Africa and is worth USD 9.57 mil­lion worth. The or­der for 147 buses com­prises of 80 units of Fal­con, 57 units of Ea­gle 916 and 10 units of MiTR. Ashok Ley­land will sup­ply the buses to the Min­istry of Higher Education Sci­en­tific Re­search and In­no­va­tion. The buses will be sup­plied over the next 180 days and in­cludes de­liv­ery of ve­hi­cles, spare parts, and an ef­fec­tive af­ter sales sup­port sys­tem in Burk­ina Faso. In other news, Ashok Ley­land was ranked high­est by the J.D. Power’s 2018 In­dia Dealer Sat­is­fac­tion with Au­to­mo­tive Man­u­fac­tur­ers In­dex (DSWAMI) study. In the com­mer­cial ve­hi­cle seg­ment, Ashok Ley­land ranked num­ber-one dealer sat­is­fac­tion with a score of 815.
