• Check for connectivity where you want to use the connection for most of the time, and opt for the SP
most suited. • Try getting all information before opting for an SP/plan – preferably in writing. • Prefer an SP with all-India license for 3G services in order to avoid roaming charges and enjoy better
connectivity if one needs to move around different circles. • Opt for unlimited plans as far as possible.
• Keep checking connectivity and speed periodically and demand rectification from your SP if you are not satisfied. Insist on limiting your bill amount to a predetermined value with an option to increase the limit when you want. • Disconnect when not in use. • Prefer written communication with your SP – like email or SMS – so that you have a record. • Do remember: only an alert consumer can protect himself.
