most suited. • Try get­ting all in­for­ma­tion be­fore opt­ing for an SP/plan – prefer­ably in writ­ing. • Pre­fer an SP with all-In­dia li­cense for 3G ser­vices in or­der to avoid roam­ing charges and en­joy bet­ter

con­nec­tiv­ity if one needs to move around dif­fer­ent cir­cles. • Opt for un­lim­ited plans as far as pos­si­ble.

• Keep check­ing con­nec­tiv­ity and speed pe­ri­od­i­cally and de­mand rec­ti­fi­ca­tion from your SP if you are not sat­is­fied. In­sist on lim­it­ing your bill amount to a pre­de­ter­mined value with an op­tion to in­crease the limit when you want. • Dis­con­nect when not in use. • Pre­fer writ­ten com­mu­ni­ca­tion with your SP – like email or SMS – so that you have a record. • Do re­mem­ber: only an alert con­sumer can pro­tect him­self.
