Sce­nario-based con­ve­nience eval­u­a­tion was done wherein the method­ol­ogy pre­scribed 12 user sce­nar­ios cov­er­ing all ma­jor func­tions. The pa­ram­e­ters in­cluded: Putting into op­er­a­tion Print­ing stan­dard doc­u­ments from com­puter Print­ing a 6 x 4 photo from com­puter Print­ing from a mem­ory card Print­ing from Pic­tBridge Us­ing as a stand­alone copier Us­ing as a stand­alone fax Us­ing as a scan­ner Main­te­nance is­sues Unin­stalling Man­u­als Net­work­ing

At least two test tech­ni­cians were en­gaged to test a prin­ter on each pa­ram­e­ter and they rated the same on the scale of 1–3 (1 = worse than ex­pected, 2 = ex­pected, and 3 = bet­ter than ex­pected).
